Hi, my name is Nick Jones. I started racing in karts a few years ago having joined Llandow Kart Club. I have been interested in motorsport for as long as I can remember. During 2006 I continued Karting but was also testing in cars with Advent Motorsport. I obtained my car race license in January 2006 just after my 16th birthday. 

I in 2007 I raced in the Dunlop Great and British Mini Challenge.

The new kid made a significant impact in this, my first race series at National level. Qualifying in pole in Club Class for all three races at the first meeting at Snetterton I secured two race wins and a second place.

Race meetings at Oulton Park, Croft, Thruxton, Donington, Spa in Belgium, Pembrey and Brand Hatch followed.

At Pembrey I secured another two first places and a second place in the three header meeting.

The final meeting of the year at Brands Hatch saw me on the top of the podium for the two races of the weekend. A fairytale end to the Mini Challenge Championship.

I finished the season third in Club Class out of 18 entries and fourth overall (Club Class and S Class) out of 42 entries. A truly amazing result in my first season.

Along the way I had extensive media coverage with six of the race meeting being televised on Sky Sports and Motors TV, providing over 1800 minutes on television coverage. Press coverage in Autosport Magazine, Motorsport News, Modern Mini Magazine and in National and regional newspapers have added significantly to the advertising coverage. I have also been voted "Best Mini Challenge Racer" by BMW Modern Mini Magazine.

In 2008 I raced in the Belgium Renault Sport Clio Cup. An amazing year racing at Circuit Zolda and the Formula 1 circuits at Spa and the Nurburgring.

I finished a respectable 5th in the junior championship and secured several podium finishes along the way.

2009 saw me back on home ground. I competed in the Welsh Sports & Saloon Car Championship. This is a mixed class championship with four different classes of car racing at the same time. All competing to be individual Class Champion and overall champion. In Class B I won sixteen of the eighteen races. I was placed 2nd overall in two races and first overall in two races, having beaten 2000cc plus race cars in classes C and D.

I am now Class B Welsh Sports & Saloon Car Champion and 2nd in the overall Championship.
